The instructions below are for users who choose to use NextGEN instead of Photocrati Gallery. If you’d like to use Photocrati Gallery – please refer to these instructions.

Before you can set up your homepage slideshow, you must have NextGEN installed and you should have created a new gallery with images you want to display on your homepage.

1) Create a page titled ‘Home’. (Read more on creating pages).

2) Place the cursor in the main body of the page and click the NextGEN insert button.

3) Select the gallery you want to display on the homepage, click “Slideshow”, and then click insert.

4) Click “Publish.”

5) Tell WordPress to display this as your home page. Go to Settings > Reading. Set “Front page display” to “A static page” and select “Home.” You will now have a slideshow on your homepage. [If you selected to have Pages created for you under Theme Options >> Quick Set-Up, you will not need to create a Home Page nor set your 'Static Page']
