What Are The Requirements for the Photocrati Theme?

There are a few things you’ll need to check into server settings by confirming with your hosting tech support the following are in place:

  • PHP Safe Mode is turned OFF
  • The memory_allowed set in the installed php.ini reads 256MB
  • Upload & Post limit at least 30MB (works best for batch image uploads)
  • Permissions set on your /wp-content directory and all sub-directories at 755
  • GD Library in enabled
  • PHP version 7.2 or greater
  • MySQL version 5.6 or greater

(as noted on WordPress.org requirements page) Here’s a letter you can send to your host; copy and paste!
I’m interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and I was wondering if my account supported the following:

  • PHP version 7.2 or greater.
  • MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater.
  • HTTPS support

Thanks!

WordPress also works with PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5.0+, but these versions have reached official End Of Life and as such may expose your site to security vulnerabilities.
